Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Roberto started his career in advertising in the year 2000. Tired of spending sunny days in an office, he moved to London in 2015. Creative Director with a copywriting background, has worked so far in some of the major agencies of Brazil and the UK. Such as DPZ, Lew'Lara\TBWA, YR, Africa and Mother, where he took part on "One of the most memorable ads from Ikea's 30 years history in the UK" with the ad "Lion Man", helping the brand to become "Creative Marketer of the Year 2017". His work has also been recognized by its creativity and effectiveness by the major industry awards such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Clio Awards, London Int'l Awards and Effie Awards.
"I believe that the best place for creativity to happen is where the restless minds are and we don't know where they are until we find them. The Drums Awards gives us the opportunity to find these brilliant minds by putting them all together in one place. The only thing we then need to do is to think and feel the work that has been produced and select those that stand out. I will be looking for work that taps into culture and human true and have the power to change both, that's what I understand as stand out work for this year."
